After starting the "Applied Pistol" program last year there has been a need for a more in depth, and comprehensive pistol shooting program, this is where Turbo Pistol comes in. Introducing movement, and exploring how movement influences our gun handling. Turbo Pistol is an intensive 2-day performance pistol shooting class meticulously crafted to elevate advanced level shooters to new heights of proficiency. Our mission is centered around "preserving the economy of motion," enabling participants to unlock their true potential through gameplan and execution. Students can expect a comfortable environment where questions are encouraged and where safety is paramount above everything else. WE WILL SHOOT THE CORE 4 TEST FOR TCC PATCHES https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvBM0JWfh_w Day 1 is split classroom / range 10am-4pm Day 2 is all range 8am - 3pm TOPICS COVERED: - Safety expectations and briefing - Equipment evaluation + tuning - Gun and ammunition management - Building a shooting platform - Mounting / Dismounting the gun - Reloads ( all types ) - Entries and Exits - Mobility and use of concealment - Preparatory queues and mental game - Improving Recoil management - Balance of Speed and Precision (throttle) - Refining the draw process - Vision based targeting - Shooting for standards (prizes for top shot) REQUIRED GEAR: -Reliable modern handgun with holster; Appendix, IWB, OWB, DUTY / ALS is fine. (NO BLACKHAWK SERPA, FABRIC, OR LEATHER HOLSTERS) -Red dot or iron sights that are zeroed (we will confirm / adjust zero as we begin) -A strong belt to carry holster and other equipment (gun belt recommended) - 3 magazines (5 recommended) - Eye and ear protection - Sunscreen (if needed) -HYDRATION - 500+ rounds of ammunition (more is recommended) - A Sharpie and something to take notes (phone notes are fine)
