NRA Pistol Instructor Certification
This 3 day course is the Basic Handgun Instructor course required to be certified by the NRA to teach their Basic handgun course. Includes how to teach in general and techniques on handgun training. We cover pistol parts and operation, the fundamentals of shooting, correcting common shooting errors.

About the event
This 3 day course is the Basic Handgun Instructor course required to be certified by the NRA to teach their Basic handgun course. Includes how to teach in general and techniques on handgun training. We cover pistol parts and operation, the fundamentals of shooting, correcting common shooting errors. The instructor candidates will be provided the course materials and are required to do short lesson presentations for the class.
Day 1 Basic of Pistol shooting (Required)
Day 2 Basic instructor training
Day 3 Handgun instructor training
All Instructor Candidates are required to complete the NRA Basic Pistol course prior to taking the instructor course.
The BIT is required for new NRA instructors and may be waived if you have taken it in the last year.
